How to Avoid Rip-Off Biz Opps
(c) Copyright 2002, Kevin Bidwell
Every day we are inundated with a slew of business
opportunities--or "Biz Opps" as they are called. All of
them promise untold riches with little or no effort, all
from the comfort of home.
Some require substantial investment, many require only a
$25-50 commitment.
Almost all of us have fallen for these at one time or
another, and most of us have realized the promises were
hollow.
2008 "Top Picks" Work at Home Earn $10 to $75 per hour part time, We offer Work At Home listings that have been investigated and approved by a large community of researchers. We offer a fair review of the best work at home programs.

So, today, I want to give you some keys to evaluating the
NEXT business opportunity so that YOU CAN KNOW whether what
you are getting into can actually make you money.
Here are some keys:
1. Good business opportunities offer a valuable product.
Does the product have value? One way to tell is to ask
yourself if you would still purchase the product, at the
retail price, if you knew you wouldn't make any money from
it. Are you willing to pay $25 a month for online investment
books and an offshore bank card? Good. Do it. But make
sure that you feel the product has value in itself.
2. Good business opportunities offer that valuable product
to a niche where it has little or no competition.
Are you thinking about a product targeted to the opp seeker
market? Forget it! There is just too much competition
there. Unless you are already a heavy hitter, it will be
tough to make any money from it.
How do you know whether an opportunity has limited
competition? The best way is to use this tool:
http://all-in-one-business.com/wt.html
Put in all the keywords that apply to your biz opp and run
a competition report. You will quickly see what level of
competition you will have.
3. Good business opportunities are willing to let you
investigate and ask questions BEFORE you join in.
Don't get deceived by hype--a good business can back up its
claims. Ask not what is POSSIBLE, but what the AVERAGE
PERSON is doing. If 93% of the people fail, what makes them
think YOU will succeed? Ask what other biz opps the primary
people in the organization have promoted before. Get all
the facts before you jump in.
If they are upset that you are asking, walk away...they are
not a company you want to do business with.
4. Good business opportunities give you statistics.
How can anyone market without knowing who visits, what they
look for and what they buy? If your business opportunity
doesn't give you this information, you are unlikely to
succeed.
5. Good business opportunities allow you to market
creatively.
Don't get me wrong here: there are going to be some rules.
You can't lie, you can't spam, you (most likely) can't copy
the original site content. BUT, you should be allowed to
set up a site that POINTS to your business opportunity. You
should be able to build a newsletter base. You should be
able to follow up on the people who visit your site. These
are all basic things you will need to become successful.
Now, are there things that should be tip-offs that a Biz
Opp is a scam? YES. Here are several:
1. It is being promoted by the same guy who was "totally
committed" to something else just a month ago.
I am still getting emails from people telling me that if I
join such-and-such a program, that a particular Internet
Big-Wig will build my downline. Sorry to disappoint, but
that ship has sailed. Said "guru" is now promoting another
Biz Opp where he is, of course, "totally committed to your
success."
2. It gives you impossibly large numbers as if they are
reasonable.
Here is the truth: Online it is tough to make $5,000. If
anyone tells you differently, they are lying. Can it be
done? Sure, that and more. Will you do it without a good
solid plan working someone else's biz opp? Unlikely.
Don't get me wrong, people are becoming rich working online
every day. They just aren't doing it promoting other
people's programs and business opportunities.
But the hype is so overwhelming, it's often hard to
penetrate.
Trust me in this: Making a living online is a great goal,
but it is going to take some effort. You will need to have
a good plan and good advice. And it will take you more than
a month or two to get there.
3. The "business plan" involves getting other people to buy
into the business in order of you to make money--i.e.,
you make money by "selling" people on the actual
business.
If the way you make money is through recruiting others, you
will not make any real, long-term income.
4. If it is MLM.
OK, before I get stoned by the networking crowd, let me
explain: MLM, as I have often stated before, can be a viable
business marketing plan. The problem with MLM is that most
people can NEVER make it work. I mean ALMOST NO ONE will
ever make any real money at it. If you are looking at an MLM
opportunity, make sure that you know what you are getting
into.
So, then, what is the BEST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY? It's very
simple. The VERY BEST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ON THE NET IS
THE ONE YOU CREATE.
1. Find an underserved market niche.
2. Create or locate a product that can fill that niche.
3. Put together a dynamite sales process.
4. Work hard at marketing until you are making money.
It works EVERY time.
If you need help getting this done, let me know. I would
love to be a part of your growing success.
