Work at home data entry and clerical jobs
Here are several companies that offer work at home data entry and clerical jobs. Most of them have very specific requirements and are looking for applicants with specialized skills. They may not be hiring at this time, so be sure to check their current openings.
*Please Note: Most ads you see for data entry jobs are scams. Many of these companies don't advertise their openings online for that reason (among others). None of these companies charge a fee to job applicants and that is how to tell the scams from the legitimate jobs.

- AccuTran Global- Hires contracters to do transcription, scoping, document review, editing, formatting, realtime writing and management.
- Capital Typing is currently seeking qualified people to offer professional business services to clients including secretarial and data entry.
- DionData Solutions- Looking for contractors with typing and computer skills.
- Expedict- A UK based company that hires home typists on a contract basis.
- Frontline4Hire- Virtual Assistants and customer service agents.
- McDonald Data Services- Data entry from home for applicants in the Dallas/Fort Worth area only.
- KeyForCash- They apparently offer that elusive and rare simple data entry job, but I've heard you don't earn much with them and they aren't always hiring. Tax time is their busiest season.
- Office Details- A minimum of five years of proven experience as an administrative or concierge professional is required. Candidates who are experienced Virtual Assistants or Freelancers will be given priority consideration.
- Palm Coast Data- Only accepts applicants who live on the Palm Coast in Florida.
- QuickTate- Hires typists.
- Troy Research- An entirely virtual company. Does have positions that are data entry related, however they are very specific in their requirements.

Another of our readers landed a job! It makes me so happy to hear from people who were able to get a job through our site. Here's what she wrote:
Dear Sharon:
I just wanted to say thank you for your blog. I have started working as an Internet Assessor for Lionbridge and couldn't be happier. Though the process was long, I was accepted and have been with them for about a month. Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Sharon McElwee
Congratulations Sharon! Here's the blog post on how to become a Google Quality Rater.
