A Note From Sharon:

Dear Reader,

2006 is kicking off in a big way here on the California coast. Wild weather has been pounding us with wind and rain for several days now. We usually lose power during storms like this, so hopefully I can get this issue out before that happens.

Seems like it must be a sign of big things to come this year. We'll have some big things for you very soon, starting with a new monthly publication. Every month, I'll investigate a work at home opportunity and report my findings to you. I'd love your suggestions for specific companies or types of opportunities that you'd like me to research. Send your suggestions to me at ezines@2work-at-home.com.

Since the most common question I'm asked is, "I want a work at home job, not a business, can you help me?" I thought it would be appropriate to feature an in-depth article on telecommuting. You'll find it to be a comprehensive and practical overview of what telecommuting is, it's history and even interesting alternatives to it.

There's something for everyone in this issue, and I hope that it helps you to start 2006 off in a big way!

Happy New Year!
Sharon Davis

From the outside, things could not look more perfect. You have a great husband, terrific kids, a fantastic house and go on amazing holidays. Why is it, then, that inside you're screaming?

Who are you? Chances are you're a bright, educated woman, probably with two or three children, who gave up her own career to follow her husband. But now, you're about ready to walk. You're not alone: Studies have shown that a high percentage of marriages that fail do so because the wife is unhappy about sacrificing her own career or the life she had envisioned for herself.
