Dear Reader,

Fall is my favorite time of year. I just love the crisp, blue-skied days and of course the holidays. Thanksgiving is a big holiday in our house. All of our relatives live far from us and they all usually come here. I look forward to this all year long.

It wasn't always this way. In the past, the holidays were my least favorite time of year. I worked in retail, so from Halloween until New Years my life was not my own. I worked long hours, often traveling out of town and I when I was home I was exhausted. Needless to say, the holidays were not nearly as special as they could have been.

This was one of the main motivations for me to find a way to work from home. I wanted the holidays back. I wanted to be here to create the magical memories for my girls.
