My mini-vacation over, I remarked to a colleague of mine that it was "back to the grindstone" for me. I say this with a good deal of humor because, let's face it; what I do can't be called putting my nose to the grindstone.

Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of work running this website and all it entails; but the fact is I enjoy such freedom to make my own decisions and schedule I really do feel that I have it all.

Incredibly though, there are drawbacks. One is the isolation that I often feel working at home. There are times when I miss the professional interaction my old job afforded me. I am by nature, however, an introvert so it wasn't as difficult a transition as it could have been. Some find it to be lonelier than they can take, and that's something to be considered.

This month's feature articles take us from the idea stage with "How To Become A Work At Home Mom" and "6 Amazing Secrets To Work At Home Success" to the practical realities of working at home and the loneliness that often accompanies it.
