Dear Reader,The pros and cons of working at home are a frequent topic for us, and
I was recently and shockingly reminded of one of the biggest pros.
We had a tragic accident in our small community where 4 people lost
their lives- 3 of them teenagers, my oldest daughter's age. It hit the students
hard and many of them went home- my daughter among them. I happened
to be at the school volunteering, so I was there when she needed me. I'm
not sure I would have been able to do that in my "previous life" when I had
a regular job.
If we help just one of you, just one, to be able to work at home and be there
when your kids, your spouse, your loved ones need you-- then I think we've
done something truly important.
