Ahem...To get back to the original question...

One of the most important factors for me has been to make sure I'm focusing my campaigns on only the most relevant programs. They have to be exactly matched to my niche in order to be successful. For example, my site is for working at home. I only do well with affiliate programs for home business opps. I have tried programs for things that are related, but not specifically work at home like financial services with no success.

The other thing is to be sure and track your campaigns so that you are not wasting time or valuable ad space on something that's not producing. This also allows you to keep your campaigns fresh.
