Did they give you any idea when you will get it?

Well, my computer guy called me this am and he's having trouble getting his data recovery program to work, it keeps locking up. He's going to try some different things over the weekend, but I may have to pay a data recovery company (and that runs several hundred dollars). Nice timing. I sure hope my guy can find something before it comes to that.

Wow, I hope your guy can fix things before it comes to that also. That is a lot of money. Sure hope you can get it fixed over the weekend.

I feel your pain Sharon - My motherboard fried last month and thankfully my father in law owns a computer store so he was able to save the data and fix it all up for me - only problem was I had to ship the computer to him and was without it for almost 2 weeks. I felt so lost without my computer!

That is a lucky break Chris. Well, I did in fact lose all of my data but the most important stuff (my pictures and music) were on my iPod so I feel fortunate there. The worst thing was losing all of my email settings, filters, folders, etc. What a pain, but it's all good now.
