Where do you put Adsense on your pages?

I have adsense on the very top of my page and one more on each the left and right navigation panels. You're limited to 3 locations per page. On my article site, I have them in the body of the article after the first paragraph.

I have put one adsense at the top of the page, one at the left side and last one is at the end of the page.
