I get my best results from Ryze.com and I also have a Linkedin page but dont use it. I belong to several foodie and cooking social networks and those work out great for me because its my niche.

I tend to like one on one upfront and personnal approach. I get to know the people I'm working with on my downline and Teach them also the skills it takes to be successful.

My business is in travel which really works out nice cause we all like to travel together in largers groups. To me thats a true social network without a computer:D

I am ADDICTED to Facebook, I like that you can invite people to events! I also use MySpace but haven't quite figured out the whole Twitter thing :)

I think Social Networking is KEY for any online business...if you are going to build a home-based business online....Social Network is a must....however, it is not the only thing you should be doing to promote your business.

I love Twitter. But I think many people over-use it as a way of free advertising. People get totally bored with advertising posts and will unfollow. You have to use it socially - that's the only way to get people interested enough to click on your websites and links.

You also need to use a tool like Tweetdeck in order to organize your followers.
