How do you deal with competition especially with others who are representing the same company as you?

Do you work with your downline or compete with your downline? I know your downline is beneficial to you in a greater sense, but do you find they like to compete with you?

How do you deal with competition within your niche?

We're all working toward the same goals. And our product doesn't really create competition like many Mlm's would.

Good luck, Willy

Willy,

It's good to hear your downline works with you and not against you. I have seen and know some people who do unethical things behind their sponsor's back.

I was never able to wrap my brain around it because it only reflects on the unprofessionalism of the person doing it and I'm not sure how the people below them feel about their sponsor's behaviour.

Sophia,
I can only tell you how I feel about my upline. The person that got me into this business gave me very little information and said good luck. Left me hanging. I was lost for the first month and decided to go to another meeting. That was the best decision I could've made. Started alone and managed to payoff my business in 3.5 months and have done fine since.

My sponsor on the other hand has lost a few people since and I believe will continue to do so. Yes I'm definetely disappointed in her since she is my own niece. The strange thing is because of my efforts she will be successful in this business and not help one bit. The way my business is set up I will probably pass her and be more successful and thats a good thing. I train mentor and work with my downline and I'm sure I will get a bad apple someday(hope not). So far so Good!

Her upline saw my efforts and they have been a great support.

How do they feel about thier upline? Disappointed as I am and thats where it stops.

Most often if the sponsor fails to train and mentor their downline most will fail and the whole business fails. Of all the people my neice sponsored, only two of us have kept her successful. If she loses Two more of her personally sponsored downline she gets no money since there is a minimum and she forced to fill those voids (which I like).

Blah blah blah blah...........

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it;)

Take care, Willy

Hi Willy,

You made some great points!

The person who recruited me into TW....left me hanging too. Matter of fact, she recruited me and then within 30 days she quit and took off.

I had NO upline for 6 weeks and then after I requested it, they moved me to my current upline and my current upline is GREAT!

I think with Direct Sales you will find some very unprofessional jealous people roaming around. Its important to remain professional even if your competition is not being professional. In the long run...the professionalism wins out.

Willy,

Thanks for your input. I really get where you're coming from. It's unfortunate when it comes to family and it would be nice to see them succeed as you have, but she has to learn this for herself.

I don't belong to any direct sales or opportunities requiring a downline. I know a bit about MLM and have been exposed online and offline to some of the unethical doings of others.

Sophia,
Thought I might add my niece is paying an unfortunate price. call it learning the hard way. Some close friends of hers (she sponsored) gave her an ear full which caused her to fall even farther away from the business.

I had a talk with her about why these things happen. Told her she needs to mentor and teach each individual before she moves on to the next. This will give her the success she's hoping for.

She still hasn't gotten back on her feet as she's been beat up pretty good. She's tip toeing back and i do think she'll come around. It'll take some re-evaluating her lifestyle (party animal stage). Think she's starting to realize that being an adult reqiures some responability.
