I have been putting together a package, with a partner of mine, for some wahm that are (or plan to) telecommute. I understand that it is difficult to convince one's employer to try it out. I think the first step would be to get as much information about telecommuting as possible. Knowledge is power.
The next thing they should have in their arsenal is the actual tools necessary for telecommuting. This means a computer, high speed internet, the right software etc.
The last thing that I think is extremely important is to be able to convince both the boss and the IT department. The IT department wants to know things are secure. The boss wants to make sure it makes sense for the bottom line.
What I am proposing is an entire package called the Total Telecommuting Package that will make it as simple as possible for someone wanting to try telecommuting. I'm sure there is more than enough knowledge just in this forum to really help some people out. All I want to do is collect all of the information, put it into a nice package, and market it to the people who need it most.
I think that the fact that the program is being created by other wahm and telecommuters will strengthen the positioning of this product.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Please keep in mind, that I do not want to create a hub for sharing information, that's what this site already is. I think the goal would be to try to package the information so that it is as easily digestible as possible.
What do you see as possibilities? What potential problems do you see?
