Bay leaves contain compounds that help prevent headaches. A bay leaf or 2 added to soup imparts an appealing flavor and aroma and helps improve digestion of fats.
• A strong tea (steep in boiling water for 15 to 30 minutes) made from bay leaves makes an effective compress for stiff and sore joints. Soak a small washcloth in the warm tea and apply to the affected joints for 15 minutes
• When baking potatoes, cut a deep slice in each potato. Insert a Bay Leaf and bake as usual. Remove Bay leaf and enjoy!
