How do you make Scentsy a success?

I just started and am having my first open house party. But what are other great ways to succeed with this candle business other than doing parties?

I am not a scentsy rep, but the best way to be successful with any business is to get your name out there. Whether it be online or offline. Talk to at least 2 people a day about your business. Leave business cards, catalogs, brochures, flyers, etc. every where.

But I just wanted to chime in and say I agree with what Marli suggested.

I have only ever had one party...and that was my launch. I gain orders from people taking my baskets and having their own Basket Party "catalog party". I get referrals from my website as well.

Give a car candle to anyone you come into contact with....Tellers, Grocery store clerks, mint marts, waitresses, hotel maids etc...ANYONE :)

I make small samples out of the scent of the month and attach them to all of my promotional material. EVERYWHERE I go, I share these with people. You will be amazed at how many calls you will get if you are consistant with this practice!
