I am advertising left and right and I am getting nowhere. I am open to ideas.

What kind of advertising are you doing? Are you doing targeted advertising and directing it towards those who would most likely be interested? Are you taking the time to build relationships with folks on wahm networking communities or just placing ads on them?

Hi Felicia,
I don't pay a cent for any advertising I do. What I do is network and participate on forums, I try and get on Twitter at least once a day (during the week), and I also write articles in my niche and submit them to article directories, forums, and also exchange them with other sites. Link exchanges works well too. :)

What kinds of advertising have you done so far?
How long have you been advertising?

Do you any way to track your efforts? Statcounter or a generator?
If you can track you can figure out where you are getting most of your traffic from.

I have always relied on the same techniques that Tammy mentioned above-- article writing, forum participation, a blog, squidoo, etc. I use very little paid advertising.

I have not spent a penny in advertising in months. I just do what has already been mentioned. Forums, commenting on blogs, posting to my own blog.
My traffic has increased every month since I stopped spending money and used the free methods.

Effective ways are social bookmarking, join forum discussions, article submissions.Add to that recipe is hard-work and determination.:o

I have done pay for click ads, made a lot of sales but paid almost as much in advertising costs. These days, I write articles on subjects related to the affiliate products I sell, participate in forums, and have a couple of blogs linked to my websites. :)

Hi Ann,
I agree, I think that old fashioned networking is the way to go.
On that note, you can have a link to your site or blogs in your signature. Just go to the User CP (up at the top) and you can create your signature ;)
