Do you like Ning?
How do you compare it to Facebook or MySpace in what you like or don't like?

I like Ning a lot, but I find it difficult to navigate sometimes. I think it would be easier if all of the social networks on it were more like groups, instead of you having to log into them separately. It gets kind of difficult to keep track of everything if you're a member of a lot of them.

I'm not familiar with Ning...I'll have to check it out. Another SN site to get sucked into!

I don't care much for Ning as it reminds me of Facebook. It's okay...still like Twitter and forums over Ning and FB.

Ning is OK, but I like Twitter and forums better as well. I don't have a Facebook account, and I don't think I'll be creating one anytime soon. :p

Oh really Tammy? You said on Ning you loved it there. What is it about Ning you don't really care for?

Personally,

I don't like the Ning Social Site at all. Here are my reasons:

1. I get spammed a lot of nonsense invites to come join various networks and groups. This got so bad, that I had to block emails.

2. Everyone and their sister sends you an invite to be their "ning" friend. Sorry Charlie, but if I don't know you, its a no go for me. I had to block those requests on most ning groups as it got out of hand.

3. It's hard to navigate...I don't have an hour to try and find posts within particular groups that are of interest to me.

In my opinion, I prefer twitter, facebook and forum boards...although I primarily use FB for family & friends stuff and not too much biz stuff.

I have my other reasons too, but I want to know how others feel about Ning. I agree with you Shelly and Danielle that it can be somewhat difficult to navigate. That's a really negative for me. It's how I feel about FB...after they kept changing it I found it harder to navigate and I didn't have the time or patience to search for things that shouldn't have been difficult to find.
