Personal income, banking, or even IRS fake emails seem to be used more and more. Anything related to my personal finances I always check out with the bank, IRS, state office or whoever is the official office. It has always helped me avoid being scammed. Thank you for posting this info.

over the past two weeks I have received at least 4 emails stating that my bank account is pending with money waiting to be deposited. I don't even have a bank account! One of them was from some Dr So and So. These people are trying everything and anything to make a dollar.
