I have been a work at home mom for about 9 years now. I do love it and am glad that I have the opportunity to be home with my son. Anyway, one thing that works for me is to get all my "home stuff" done in the morning. I get it all done, homeschooling, bills, etc and then have lunch and then begin my workday for about 3 to 4 hours. This works good for me as then I do not have any excuse to stop working or to lose my momentum to get my work done.

Getting my work at home stuff done first thing works for me too. I also tend to do some of my work late evenings/nights too. Time management alwways seems to be one of the biggest challenges when you work at home.

When it comes to time management.. knowing your priorities affects a lot on how you spend your time. I have my priorities listed.

I use a daily system of work is the only way to organize my day as I have so many different jobs and things to do.

It's also important to review your system and tweak it from time to time.

Time management is simply "organizing your time."
All of us do it every day. The better you organize your time, the more you get done whether it is on the job, homework, housework, etc.
Just take a look at Microsoft Outlook and how you can organize all your e-mails, organize meetings, other calendar entries, etc. It was invented by Mr. Gates a successful businessman.
