The company provides an elite voice reservations service to qualified hotels in the greater Seattle area. Our network of agents are trained in the Signature Sales method, hotel properties, and are proficient in the various property management systems used by our clients. The Reservations Manager has overall responsibility for operation of a hotel reservations service and supporting responsibility for profitability. The applicant will be responsible for the efficient and professional operation of the reservations team. In this capacity the manager will organize, train, and schedule the day-to-day operation of a dozen agents working from remote locations. As the key operations manager in the Seattle area duties will include interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising agents to deliver a high quality of service while achieving the performance metrics that are the standard for our company. The service operates in a distributed fashion utilizing several integrated internet-based technologies including: PBX, ACD, PMS, VOIP, and Microsoft Windows. The Reservations Manager will be training agents in the use of our contact management system, the various property management systems employed by clients, and the Signature Sales method.
The applicant must bring at least 3 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in business, hotel, or hospitality management or equivalent. Applicant must be able to solve problems quickly and concentrate on details. Initiative, self-discipline, effective communication skills, and the ability to organize and direct the work of others are essential for the job. The applicant must manage personnel issues with many different types of people, even in stressful situations.
