This is a field that is growing tremendously. I did some research on it and it looks good.

Hello, I am a newbie to the forum. I researched alot of these "Rebate processing; Data entry"..etc they seem to be scams! Are there ANY truly legitimate work in these areas?

Hi Gitane,

I have yet to come across a legitimate "rebate processor" job. While there are data entry jobs out there, they are hard to find and always for very specialized areas (like transcription, databasing, etc.) The real jobs are rarely advertised as "data entry", they are advertised as the specialized jobs that they are, i.e. Database Expert or SQL Guru.

I'd say the 99% of the data entry "jobs" you see are all the same animal....the job is to post ads (usually clickbank ads) and to post them (the same "data entry workers needed" ads) and then you get a portion of the sales that are made. You often have to pay a fee in order to do this. The thing is, that anyone can sign up at Clickbank and post their ads in order to earn money....and you keep the whole commission, you don't pay someone else in order to share it with them :confused:

What is your background? What skills do you have? There are lots of people here who I'm sure would be happy to give you some suggestions.

That is true, whenever they say "data entry work at home" it's usually a scam, they either want you to pay for something or they are getting your information. I've had real data entry jobs and none of them were over the internet. The real online jobs require some skill.
