How do I determine if an offer is legitimate? I have recently lost my job and am exploring work at home options. I had an "online" interview with a person who said they were with Toshiba Computers. After the standard interview questions, supposedly they are sending me money orders to cash and purchase software and computer equipment and keep $150 as a sign on bonus. The pay is $19 per hour for 5 hour maximum a day. It is data entry. Does anyone know how to determine if they are legitimate? I have not been asked to put money up myself...but I am concerned that somehow the money orders would be fraudulent then I would be the one out the money for equipment purchases.
